Our Managing Director
Sodi Toby, CEng FIMechE
Sodi is an engineering consultant and serves as our Managing Director. He is our lead resource person and has management and technical oversight of our teams. Sodi is a well-regarded leader, engineering consultant, and professional adept at delivering complex projects in the oil & gas & energy sectors.
In one of his previously held senior roles as Head of Projects and management team leader at MSE Consultants Ltd, a reputable engineering consultancy, he led the company to a record year of revenue and profits.
Following his time at MSE, he left to help found and lead Eta Energy Solutions. He continues to help oil and energy companies improve uptime and increase revenue with an optimal gas compression solution.
Sodi is an engineering consultant with extensive experience in gas compression, rotating equipment, front-end studies, asset optimisation, integrated asset modelling, and field development studies.
He is a Chartered Engineer, professionally recognized by the Engineering Council (UK) and a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (UK). He graduated from the University of Sussex with a first-class Master’s in Turbomachinery. He speaks regularly and presents technical papers at international oil and gas conferences worldwide.
